Staff Handbook Application

The Staff Handbook is designed to provide you with information about PBS4 and details of your employment. The Staff Handbook also contains the policies, procedures and rules for the organisation that you are expected to follow as a member of the PBS4 team. It also provides a general introduction to getting started with the systems we use as well as outline both obligations from you as an employee and PBS4 as an employer

Several of the policies, procedures and rules included in the Staff Handbook are referred to in your contract of employment. Some form part of your contract of employment with PBS4 and some do not. The Staff Handbook specifies which policies, procedures and rules are incorporated into your contract of employment. It is important to read the Staff Handbook carefully. If you have any questions about its contents, please raise them with Your line manager. 

The Staff Handbook will be updated as and when changes occur. 

For record purposes, please complete the google form at the end of the Handbook to confirm that you have read and understood the information, PBS4’s policies and Skills for Care Code of Conduct for Support Workers presented to you in the PBS4 Handbook. Please note, that you can refer back to any sections as and when required.

If you are unsure of any parts or information on the Handbook, please speak with your line manager first. If anything is still unclear or you are unsure of, please contact HR at hr@pbs4.org.uk for further clarification.
